Summoners War app review

Besides the rune system we mentioned earlier, each monster comes with two different attacks. First, a normal attack and second, special attack that hits multiple times or has other effects (for example, healing). For the special attack, there will be cool down timers. To make the best of these attacks, a bit of strategy is needed here. Also, each monster has an elemental attribute. You can use this to exploit your enemy’s weaknesses.

Other than rune system, attacks and elemental attribute, another interesting feature in this game is that you can leave reviews of the monsters. These reviews can be accessed from the monsters status screen. They often contain hints as well as other help from other players. A helpful feature to work out monsters that worth keeping. All these gameplay features not only add depths to Summoners War for Android. They also make it stand out to other games as well.

As for the graphic, Summoner’s War graphic is vibrant with smooth, good looking and well-detailed animation. Attacks are flashy and they animate well.

Cons:

An unusual limitation. You can only chat if you are level 8 or higher. In other words, you need to play this for a few hours before you can chat. If you are a beginner, this makes it difficult to ask higher level players for some advice in-game
Good monsters are hard to summon without large purchases of crystals. Even worse, some monsters summoned are used only for fodders to strengthen other monsters. It will be tough to play the game without spending actual cash.

Tips to Play

Just like any other MMORPGs, you will need to farm to get XP and resources. Here are some good places to farm include Faimon Volcano (Stage One: Gate/Path, use monsters with water element), Hydeni Ruins (Stage Five: Damnation), Tamor Desert (Stage Three: North), Mt. White Ragon (Stage Two: Hill).
Do exploit your enemies’ elemental weakness. When your monsters have elemental superiority, they gain 15% critical rate bonus. It is a good idea to know your enemies’ elemental attributes beforehand.
Max out your glory towers. If you max out glory towers, your overall efficiency increases while you are farming for fodder. For example, towers like Mysterious Plant (decreases the time to refresh energy) and Sanctum of Energy (increase energy storage) are helpful.
