Snapseed app review

The app developer wants to make this photo editor application clean and simple. Therefore, the home page comes in minimalistic theme. When you open the app, you will notice that it has big plus sign on a circle and brief instruction behind it saying tap anywhere to open a photo. By tapping at the screen, you will be able to access your gallery. It is designed with minimalistic white theme for a good reason. They want to emphasize the clear instruction on how to use it without using too many directions.

The first feature that comes in the Snapseed for Android is preset feature. It has no less than 11 presets that you can choose. If you are not satisfied with the options, you can always add more preset into this option later. That being said, the most useful feature is located under the Tools menu. On the bottom section, you can see three menus available. Presets are by default categorized under Looks menu. The Tools menu located next to the previous menu, offers plenty of features.

The Tools menu is filled with 28 features. The features are mostly adjustment setting that you can twitch around to get better photographic results. Among those features, you will be able to use standard menu such as Tune Image. This feature is used to adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, ambiance, warmth, and many more. The best part about having those features is you can explore which adjustments work best for your shot.

How to Use the App

After you capture a photo that you want to edit, you can tap the Snapseed icon on your smartphone.
