ooVoo app review

The app interface is more modern and interesting after the re-launch. It provides a fresher look and gives an impression of better performance. Its ability to connect up to twelve chats also has to be considered as one of its strongest feature which other apps don’t have. Other than that, this app also enables users to send short video clips which are limited to 21 second each. It provides the filter feature as well, which allows users to use filters in any of their video or photo. Most amazingly, you can use it while you are on a video call.

However, the downsides are the video quality is poor, even when you have a good connection. On the other hand, it doesn’t seem to bother the voice call, so it has to be something with the video feature. The poor video quality makes the filter feature barely visible, which is too bad since the feature is pretty cool and unique. The interface, though interesting, is not user friendly. You will find yourself lost in the middle of the unlabeled icons that can be confusing. The other bad thing is it seems that this app doesn’t have its own type of emoji, thus making your chats a bit boring. To sum up, here are the pros and cons of using ooVoo for Android.

• It can connect up to 12 video calls and has interesting interface.
• It has ability to send short video clips and filter feature.

Cons:

• Poor video quality.

How to Use the App

Using this app is more fun with your friends in your contact list. Add your friend in it by typing your friend’s ID on the search button. Tap the bar at the upper side of your screen that has ‘Search ooVoo’ on top of it. Afterwards, type your friend’s ID or name, and click ‘Search’. Once you’ve found your friend’s account, just tap ‘Add’.

You can change the privacy option to keep your identity safe. First, tap on your profile photo, and tap the gear icon. After that, select ‘Privacy & Security’. You will find a question of ‘who can find me’. Afterwards, you can tap on the “People who know my email address or ooVoo ID” if you would like to keep your account to close friends. Or, tap on the ‘Nobody’ if you would like to keep your account private.
