Sure, this app will lighten up the edge display every time there is notification popping up, especially from social apps. However, the lighting is not the only thing that will do the job here. There is animation as well. It will pop up too even when the screen is off. You are even allowed to choose one from varied palette of animations. They are all specially designed for your phone. You just need to get one you like the most and it will definitely pop up when the time comes. Do give it a try then.
