Cricut Design Space for Android is a digital design app that you can use to set up and layout projects to make with a Cricut machine. This app includes a set of tools to create, personalize, and modify all the projects you create with a Cricut machine. It also comes with a broad collection of fonts, images, and pre-designed projects, which can help you to create a Cricut project. This design app is available for desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

If you are not familiar with this app, do not be worried because this design app provides a lot of options to help you create projects. It helps you to create and edit pre-made projects, combine pre-designed pictures and fonts to layout project designs, create original designs by using simple shapes, share projects with the Cricut community, design project ideas and save them in your Access account, and many more.

How to use Cricut Design Space

The first thing you need to do is to download and install the design app on your Android device. A free version is available to download for all Cricut users. Once you have installed it on your phone, you need to pair the app and account with your Cricut machine. You can opt for using the free account or you can upgrade it later.

Next, open the app and select Setup Product. Create a Cricut ID by filling out the form. The app will guide you through setting up your machine. You can still sign up an account and start to design a project though you do not have the Cricut machine yet.

After that, you can start designing a project by finding an image first in the Cricut library. Tap Image on the left to see the Cricut Image Library. Here, you can browse thousands of images that you can use in your project. Once you have selected one image, you can edit it. You can edit and adjust the image with just a few tools. Once you are satisfied with your design, tap the Make It button to place your project on virtual mats.

Then, you can adjust the size placement of your project pieces. Once you have finished, do not forget to save your project. You can opt for saving your Cricut project to the cloud or your phone. Note that you will need an internet connection if you save it on the cloud.
